Anyone know what all the recent track work on the barrie line is for?

I noticed on the barrie layover they removed one of the electrical stations that the trains connect to during non-service hours. so i assume no 5th train anytime soon?

I think they have the group pass which is both ways and cheaper than single tickets?

maybe metrolinx will buy the meaford sub off barrie and collingwood seeing they can barely afford to maintain it. its gettin pretty old by now.

you could get service to wasaga if the government or the short line operator decides to ever upgrade the tracks past barrie to collingwood.

I seen while driving by the barrie go yard, that it can actually handle 5 train sets or more. I seen those units the trains hooked up to and a far one said train 5. so maybe barrie get 5th train sometime :rolleyes:

yeah. there is only two buses everyday. one bus each way and one return bus bus in each direction. there used to be 3 three buses when there was pmcl. but greyhound sucks balls and cut it down.

it's kinda funny why they can't run barrie trains on weekends. or least a couple here and there with return trains. im sure it would steal all grey hound's business if they ran a couple on weekends to toronto. lol
