People won't care but I also don't think people will care for it. It'll just be a thing that exists in the city. Doesn't seem like something that will see repeat business like other attractions in the area (wonderland, ripleys etc). Might just be me but I don't see it being this big tourist...

    Brampton Toronto | 2111 Steeles Avenue East | ?m | ?s | Prologis

The pandemic pushed the need to hold on to it a little longer. It was essentially being used for excess storage. The Dispatch team for their Fleet also worked out of that building until last week when a new dispatch office finally opened at their Goreway site. CT held on to it about 10 years...

Doesn't look like there's space for it in the new building but that Goodlife in the current building will be missed. Fills a nice little gap between the ones on Eglinton and the ones on St.Clair. Toronto Prep has a decent number of students too. Wonder where they'll go.

    Cobourg Toronto | Beackwalk Flats | 11m | 3s | HJ Enterprises | Petroff Partnership Architects

Along King Street between Division and McGill St there were several. Some were businesses that had moved but 25 (formely Van's Jewelry), 39 ( a former Salon), 41 (former clothing store) and 52 (formerly Coborg X-Ray and Ultrasound) King Street E are for lease currently on Realtor.CA. On the flip...

    Cobourg Toronto | Beackwalk Flats | 11m | 3s | HJ Enterprises | Petroff Partnership Architects

Was just there yesterday. A few proposals on a few of the open parking lots like this one. The downtown though is a bit empty as many storefronts are for lease. That being said looks like some new more modern businesses have moved in. Hopefully a sign of a turnaround. Was impressed with the size...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Anectodatal but The App Based Delivery services around downtown are massive. Not sure they out number traditional bikes but the share is definitely growing fast. The younger generations love for easy delivery is just going to keep growing and an ebike is much more cost efficient than a vehicle...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Really curious to see how the city maneuvers around this. Biking infrastructure will still be built but how creative will we get? Depends on the wording of the legistlation but the proposals will be interesting. How many lanes are a bit too wide and could fit a lane in them without "removing"...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Something of note over the last few months. With the addition of bike lanes/better infrastructure (albiet most just painted) on Gladstone both north of College and south of Dundas as part of the Bartlett Avenue, Havelock Street, and Gladstone Avenuebike route they are building, it has become...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Seems like this convo happens about once a month in this thread. Bike lanes much like winter are coming. Dread them, run from them, destiny arrives all the same.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

The trend appears to be that hybrid will remain. The push back to office has been met with some conflict from the employee base and the younger generation is leaning more towards flexible job offerings. 5 days WFH likely will not be the norm but 5 days in the office will not return en masse...

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line: Exhibition Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

They were sending tons of "Special" buses down Dufferin along with the regular 29 and 929 for Caribana on Saturday. They were all paaacckkeeeddd. So it's definitely something they can do.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

This isn't on the topic of Cycling Infrastructure. Also no. I do like the pretty pictures other people post of Toronto though. Specifically the Urban part of it. As Northern Light indicated, please return to the topic at hand on our little forum on the internet.

To be fair, some people show up to work sweaty and they drove there. Not 100% sure commute type is a true indicator of whether you'll show up to work sweaty. Some people sweat just sitting in an office. At least if you biked you earned that sweat. #sweatequity

    Roads: Traffic catch all

Excuse me sir! I speak to everyone like that. Like the great William Arthur Ward once said. "A well developed sense of humour is the pole that adds balance to your steps as you walk the tightrope of life". To be an adult is to enjoy life with a great sense of humour. A very happy Friday to...

    Roads: Traffic catch all

The Park Lobby would have a field day if there was a firework store near a park. #waronparks Anyways, see you back here in 2034!

    Roads: Traffic catch all

Would the fact that the idea is still alive yet unmaterialized prove the posters point. in 10 years Yonge has remained untouched. A victory for the dreaded Car Lobby. The war continues...

    Roads: Traffic catch all

Since the replied to post was made in 2014 I have a feeling that version of lead82 has no idea what you are referencing. A blissfully ignorant time where Bloor bike lanes didn't even exist. Although in reference to Yonge, they were not wrong about nothing materializing.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

In situations like this it is mandated that the crew should be manned with two workers to be able to move the bins to the side of the claw. Many one way streets in Toronto have collection pick up for houses on both sides or the opposite side of the street. Bike lane here is pretty irrelevant to...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

To be fair, Ferrand Drive is a circular road surrounding single family homes and the office "traffic" goes one way. There's likely not enough vehicle traffic to warrant a road double that size. The additional cost of some extra paint to make that left turn lane is negligble as those cement curbs...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

My personal opinion (a rather unimportant one especially on a online forum with little impact to society) is we are in the infancy stages of a very large shift in transportation habits due to a large variety of factors not exclusive to financial, environmental, generational and technological...
