I agree. There must be hundreds of different window cleaning contractors out there. I'm sure a condo with 4 buildings can negotiate better terms. In fact, if you leverage all Liberty's buildings, heck you would have significant pull. If I were managing this condo, I would demand a re-clean...

This should be reported immediately... we should be vigiliant about preventing fire hazards like this

I never said it was a problem. I said it was an eyesore. That doesn't mean that the condo complex is not a great property considering the development in the area and the proximity to public transit options.

I just wished they got rid of the airport and all the DOD facilities. It's a huge eyesore.

$50K?.. wow... I have no idea how much current 2B+D costs in M3 and M4 but I would be very interested in finding out. I've seen on MLS a comparable unit selling for around $430K+... not sure if it sold As for profit, find a trustworthy real estate agent who will accept low commission when...

You're right. I did buy mine on Oct 14, 2007 and interim closed on Sept 29, 2010.. so they came in just shy of 36 months.

I don't think it's based on luck but rather on what floor your suite is located. Mine was on the 12th floor so interim occupancy started on Sept. 29 and registration was on Dec. 23.

Article: A New $12.4 Billion Transit Plan For Toronto

We think alike Alex.. haha I also didn't understand when he said "above ground" and "trench"... two opposite words. How can you have a trench above ground? Maybe a lane enclosed by side walls? If so, crossing traffic would be impossible. Maybe valvenis meant elevated LRT? Now that would...

Article: A New $12.4 Billion Transit Plan For Toronto

    1. Even if it does get a dedicated line, it is still taking away 2 lanes that could be used for road expansion. Plus, above ground LRTs would be subject to traffic lights, which will slow things down. I can't give you any numbers but I would argue that the average speed underground is much...

Article: A New $12.4 Billion Transit Plan For Toronto

It's unfortunate that Finch west is no longer getting a LRT but they will still benefit immensely from the Spadina extension. I think putting the Eglinton cross-town underground is the right thing to do when viewed long term. Toronto is continually growing and the commute is getting worse...

wow... you're really paranoid. According to your analogy, you should be doing a lot more than installing a little door with a little lock in your den.

depends on what floor you're on. Mine was on the 12th floor of M2. Occupancy started on Sept 29, 2010 and closed on Dec. 23, 2010 - very happy with this.

actually, I take it back.. no coffee shop. Imagine a Timmy's crap coffee shop in our complex and the amount of traffic it would generate. Getting out of our condo would be a disaster during commuting times. Dry cleaners would be handy. Convenient store would be handy as well.
