    Rob Ford's Toronto

I feel like we've been saying that for four years now.

It's a hollow victory. Only matters to people who already hate Doug. Won't change anyone's mind.

Seriously -- this is the issue. They should require audiences to be silent, because otherwise it becomes a "who can bus in the most supporters?" contest.

This is just disgusting -- it feels like a high school prom king election.

I wonder if Rob had dropped out of the election entirely, would it have affected the ITO release? The argument has always been that it's a matter of public interest because of his office. If he stopped being mayor and wasn't running anymore, would there have been a higher bar to cross?

I love JimmyT playing all coy, acting like he doesn't know.

Did we just find out that Rob Ford has fat cancer?

I agree, if there was that kind of criminality, we would have heard about some huge, criminal investigation with the city's top investigators, overseen by the provincial police.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Absolutely -- it increases all sorts of risks.
  12. Franks2000inchTV

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I imagine that anyone with dirt on Ford has been saving the worst of it for the next two months. Let it out just before the election and completely destroy his chances of being mayor. One can hope anyway.

The most fascinating thing for me was the peek inside the bustling headquarters of the Ford campaign! No wonder they have the windows covered completely. There's nothing going on there.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I wonder if with the new poll numbers, Doug is starting to tighten the money tap and the campaign is starting to run on empty. I imagine that they didn't make as much as they'd hoped selling bobbleheads, and that the fundraiser wasn't as big a success as they'd hoped. Could Rob Ford run...

Wow, that presser was something else. It was like watching a kid who's parents did his homework for him try to fake his way through the class presentation.

It makes sense that Forum would boost Ford. Not because they support Ford, but because a Ford surge drives votes to the frontrunner (which is Tory).

Any good survey will randomize the order of the options in multuple choice questions to avoid order bias.

Or else he really is using it ironically, and he doesn't give a damn about anyone but his screwed up family.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I could definitely see him saying "Fuck it! Lets go." Giroux is retiring after this, and Blair is done. Nothing left to lose might as well go right for him. I imagine that they've got plenty to hit him with. I bet they've been waiting for this a while.

Well it'll be interesting to watch RoFo over the next few days. If there's something for him to be worried about, then we could see some erratic behaviour happening.
