Was September 25th your original final occupancy date or was it moved from an earlier final date? Having gone through a previous pre-construction condo, the building code is rather forgiving on the builders side. From what I remember, there is nothing holding a builder to fixing anything noted...

What is the phantom rent (occupancy costs prior to closing) for some of your units? Is there anyone in blocks D-E-F-G who have gotten delays as well? I'm wondering if the Nov.6th date that I have for block C is going to be pushed.

Hi WilsonWilson, What was the content of the info session?

I'll likely talk to my lawyer about it after my PDI - I'll get Torbel's version as to why it isn't there before going further. The contract talks about variations in square footage but I'm not sure if any of the sections include a missing common element (window) from the drawing. Who knows how...

The last time I visited the site (May), I noticed that the window depicted in the floorplans of the T1/T2/T3 mechanical penthouse was not installed. Instead, only the sliding door was there. Does anyone know if the builder decided not to install this window? If so, I'll probably seek...

Hilarious. I seem to be one of the few residents that is actually planning on living in my unit long term and could care less about the property value. I lived in one of the other condo developments in the Triangle and fell in love with the area and I can't wait to move back.

I always assumed that it was a sliding door given it's size on the floor plans... Why would they install a temporary sliding door and then replace it?

For my last condo, the builder installed white doors and then painted them.

I found this article fairly quickly... I guess it would be up to a judge to decide if losing a window would substantially diminish your 'enjoyment' of the unit. https://www.reminetwork.com/articles/defining-material-changes-in-new-condos/ 'The Ontario Superior Court of Justice (SCJ) has said in...

It's so tough to take the builder to court for this - the units have gone up substantially in value since purchase (if you are an original purchaser) so it would be tough to prove material loss on the design change for the builder to have to compensate. If this is the case, let us know if you...

They are building a row of Commercial Units along the railpath that should be as tall as the installed sound barrier (5m). The question is... when will they start construction on them.

That sucks! I really wanted a Gas range in the kitchen.

Please keep in mind that the Builder has no obligation to offer us anything - the contract has a final tentative occupancy date deadline of early 2016 if I recall correctly.

I'll post once I get ours - if you got a delay then everyone must be delayed unless there is something special about your P4.

Are you in one of the first two blocks north of Wallace or further north than that? I haven't gotten a letter yet.

Was a gas or induction stove available as on of the upgrades? Do you have the price range for the appliance upgrades?

There is your answer in bold - these condos are walking distance to subway and a bunch of neat areas (Roncesvalles, Junction). I guess it all depends on what you are looking for in terms of lifestyle.
