Yes the details are pretty bad for the retail units. The signage in the window is not very visible, especially when you're on the sidewalk facing the building as they're blocked by the bizarre canopy. The bike stands aren't good either. Multiple of them have already been damaged as they're...

There was an industrial accident here today. I wonder if the worker was trying to get onto the roof from this ladder which wasn’t tall enough, that would be a tough gap to get over.

On the Church St side, they have now brought back this office tenant signage that was there before the demolition. The lobby entrance from Church is looking pretty bleak with these awkward “doors” for ventilation.

Exposed concrete ceilings can be nice, but the fact that they couldn't even be bothered to clean up their various markings on the ceiling shows it's just a cheapness thing on their part. Not cool.

The Dalhousie side is almost done! They’re finally opening the sidewalk there.

The gold lettering on the signage is a nice touch

They’ve since added an additional detail, these panels fronting the whole thing. Unfortunately I don’t think it makes it any better.

Installation happening now. Still find these bizarre.

Honestly I feel like food halls are a lot of hype and they often don't live up to it. The idea seems to be lets get more independent places with cool branding, jack up the prices hugely compared to a typical food court, and promote it with influencers. Don't get me wrong I've had some good...
