I'm sure she will, she seems like the kind of person who needs/loves the attention. Which is probably why she wanted to do the Sun interview in the first place -- she may have even approached them first, rather than vice-versa.

I'm not familiar with the psychology of signatures, but my gut instinct is that such a drastic change in signature is indicate of serious neuro- or psychopathology eg. stroke or dissociative state. Of course, it might also be related to substance use...

Hah! Ideally yes, but not necessary. The Ontario Medical Association's Physician Health Program uses a system whereby testing occurs an average of once a week for the first year, three times a month for the second, then once a month for the next three years. I think that would be fine: if an...

1: No, it's not common. 2: No, he's not far along in his therapy. I think I can say with confidence that your instincts are dead on!

Thanks! I've been following this thread for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. BTW I'm an addiction medicine physician and also a cocaine/crack addict in long-term recovery, so I'm *very* familiar with addiction, rehab etc. If anyone has any questions I'll be more than happy to...

Drug testing Ford has no credibility, and his words are worth nothing. The only way to confirm that he is abstinent is for him to submit to random, supervised drug tests. If he refuses, it can be stated with confidence that he is not abstinent. This is standard practice in addiction...
