Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

I believe any Don Branch routing would refurbish the bridge to the CP line, which, is not the problem area for the flooding. Thats more northerly on the Richmond Hill track.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

They want these LRTs to operate and look and feel as little like a streetcar and as much like a subway as possible. Its all about optics. Thats why they painted them grey (no seriously, to match the subway trains stainless steel look. No, I'm serious this is not an opinion, Metrolinx stated this...

    Toronto Toronto | Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I thought the LRT goes underground at Eglinton and Don Mills.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Theres a third fix: running the trains as fast as Metrolinx did when they tested the line. As soon as the TTC got the keys the trains have been running significantly slower.

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

The solution is really easy, you instead put trains in both directions on both tracks, but half the trains go down the Don Branch and half go down Stoffville line. You service the stations less often, but you interrupt GO less and with high enough frequencies the stations get serviced enough.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

This happens with everything in government. Its a given. The Spadina Line extension was pushed through by MP Greg Sorbara. Who happens to be part of the Sorbara family, owning Sobara Group housing. Who just happened to own the land where the VMC end stop of the Spadina Line was planned.

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

Luckily, there's plenty of space in this corridor, thanks due to the Scarborough Subway. There is lots more room in this corridor due to the removal of the RT. Tear up the busway they are building and now you have a ton of space for extra tracks for Alto. The busway will lose its importance...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Literally reprogramming the existing tech thats already paid for and installed.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

For "safety" This is the most insideous problem with the TTC right now. Not the tech, not any other issues. This. There is a ridiculous culture of over-the-top safety that is literally ruining the system. One close call, and the entire system is forever and permanently put on training wheels...

    VIA Rail

They should split these up and just run them each as the Sarnia trains. Majority of the route is on non-CN track (Metrolinx to GEXR) and the GEXR portion is so slow you wouldn't even notice a speed restriction anyways if there were any. The only portion thats CN is London to Sarnia, which is a...

    GO 2.0 Expansion Plan

I always found St.Clair over King/Liberty surprising. I felt like that station had more potential.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Thats a blanket statement. Thats exactly what a study would determine. Somewhere like here, there is more than ample room for a MUP and for the plows to put snow off the road https://maps.app.goo.gl/xftVhz9Mr4Sw8gVE7

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

There needs to be a study performed in the Toronto suburbs that looks at every single street with grassy boulevards and which ones cycle tracks or MUPs can be added. Many times im biking on those busy, somewhat dangerous roads for bikes and see this huge wide grassy boulevard between the...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

The density of Finch really doesn't warrant anything better, sorry. Subways, subways, subways is over with the death of Rob Ford. It turned out he had enough Subway to eat at home anyways. The public there will absolutely be glad to have a higher capacity transit system than the currently...

    VIA Rail

I thought the Ventures got the LRC speed exception? Was I misinformed? Or, are people just factoring the crossing gate slowdown/issue now.

    VIA Rail

I am curious to see what the time savings are.

No because along with no longer offering promises, they are no longer officially saying anything.

Toronto Toronto | Ontario Place: West Island / Therme Spa | 45.15m | 9s | Therme Group | Diamond Schmitt

Its weird because in previous renderings, they were connected. No idea why they got disconnected

    Waterfront Commuter Boats

Map I think some "entertainment" stops that are seasonal or events driven could be useful. Like Cherry Beach/Rebel and Ontario Place from the Harbourfront Centre would be used too. Or a stop even all the way out to the large condo complex in Mimico, I know they have been screaming for a GO...
