    Myseum of Toronto

A bit disappointing This Myseum really doesn't meet one of the key goals of providing a physical space where visitors and locals alike can interact and physically go to learn about the City. It is an idea in serious danger of being outdated before it fully develops. What happens to a...

    Museum of Toronto (?)

Thank you so much, Greenleaf! The capsule version is a great way to start. It's how I started my little racing museum: first portable, now a small 1000 sq ft space and presently being acquired by a new large venue. I would theorize that the larger Museum of Toronto may emerge after the...

What is that the City objects to? Or do they just prefer multiple decks?

    Museum of Toronto (?)

Well judging by the CEO post originally mentioned, they should have their CEO now which hopefully means we will hear more about the museum soon. I really hope it is truly a reflection of Toronto heritage. There are so many people and communities that should be reflected. The wording of the CEO...

    Museum of Toronto (?)

I noticed a few things about the posting for the CEO job which presumably closed last weekend. First they seem to want someone with Sr. level experience in strategic/project planning for a museum or similar institution. Prudent choice would be someone with an MBA and History degree if it is...

    Museum of Toronto (?)

I think there is merit in each of the possible locations. Incredible potential.

    Museum of Toronto (?)

A location on the lake would be interesting as well, because the one common thread between people of all walks of life from the past to the present is Lake Ontario and its tributaries, the Humber, Don, Rouge, etc. The Old Canada Malting building was once a possibility. That could also be good...
