Good video. Thanks for sharing. Weird that the drone never focused or really zoomed in on one of the most interesting sections of the entire area - the badlands and Owl section.

Do we know if it will be done second quarter of fiscal 2025 or calendar 2025? Must be calendar 2025 right as Fiscal 2025 would be from April 1 2024 to March 31, 2025 meaning in the past (Sept 30 2024)?? So if calendar 2025, we are looking at a June 30th 2025 completion?

lol. I’ll take those cold grey bollards over big bulky planters, jersey barriers, etc.

Best news I’ve read in this thread in a long time!! Any images of what the proposed concrete barriers will look like? Please don’t be huge rectangular blocks but rather standard looking bollards.

The louvers look almost white in this pic while all other photos I’ve seen up to now they appear to be black. What will the final colour be??

@bowen - Will there be lighting on the north facing side of the silos? As previously discussed, lighting on the north face of the north silos will be a great view terminus for those on Dan Leckie Way and Portland Street providing great marketing to entice people to Bathurst Quay. :-)

Let’s please not discuss Apple here. There are retail forums for that. (For those who are new, there were hundreds of posts about Apple going here as this space was designed for them before they pulled the plug due to delays. Will Apple reassess their withdrawal. Most likely. But let’s stop...

All quite well possible yes but it will not hurt having a fair amount of press when that day comes if it happens while sales is in full swing.

But his lack of mortality might which was St James point. 🤔 (I.e. lots of press upon his death of how great of an architect he was will surely create a lot of attention and the fact that he will not be designing any new projects will provide a bump in sales on his projects I reckon.)

One of my favourite editorials in a long time is this piece lamenting the jersey barriers in front of Union Station. Kudos to The Globe & Mail for asking Canadian cities to improve their respective public realms...

Anyone know what that excavation is for? New landscaping only? Underground parking? New access point to basement? I do know that Harbour 60 is doing lots of renos inside going from a 1 floor to a 4 floor restaurant. https://toronto.citynews.ca/2023/02/24/harbour-60-toronto-event-space/

Agreed. But people are also losing their minds because of the quality of materials being used as well. Those balconies are breathtaking, regardless of the colour.

Not to pile on but Toronto is grey enough! Please go with red or another vibrant colour.

I really like this development but agree that the entrance area could be warmed up a bit. A whimsical S L M (St Lawrence Market) or something similar as shown in Bibi L’s photo from above that I crudely edited. (Letters would be a bit smaller then how I drew it) Source: Bibi L

Time for an animated gif of this pic @Johnny Au ? You’ve pretty much documented The One from this angle every day for the last few years.
