Wouldn't read too much into it. Here in Pembroke, I've seen a GO transit car (can't remember if I've seen a bus), OC transpo busses, and an unmarked one that, judging by the colours, I guessed was going to North Bay. These things randomly happen once in a while.

Toronto BMO Field Renovations (FIFA26) | MLSE | Gensler

Nice pics, but something tells me that I might see these pics on some Toronto FB page as "proof" that they ste obstructed, even when they aren't.

    VIA Rail

I think calgary-banff, and Vancouver Island would both be good for dmus. They'd arguably could work for other places if they were coupled, not sure how the gas mileage would be over longer distances though

Even if they don't care about ecology or hunting grounds, it would have to occur to them that a train at 300 km/h hitting a moose might not be very pretty.

    Ottawa Transit Developments

I'm confused, line 2 doesn't go to bayshore and doesn't have a third rail. It's all diesel.

    Toronto Toronto | Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Not sure driving is much better with the amount of billboards and road signs and car decals one has to look at.

    GO Transit Electrification | Metrolinx

Curious, with the rebuild of exhibition stn, are there any provisions for future additional tracks? Or would they even be necessary?

Under the HFR plan, Tweed should have had a stop. Not so much with HSR.

RapidTO: Citywide Streetcar Priority (City of Toronto, TTC)

Personally I just hope that they won't conclude that TSP delays the other streetcars and use that as an excuse to shelve the entire thing :/

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Couldn't they just order the regular citadis for the streetcar fleet? I had thought that the spirit was modded for more subway-like service, and the mods wouldn't be needed on the streetcar network.

RapidTO: Citywide Streetcar Priority (City of Toronto, TTC)

Is there a reason why all intersections chosen are ones where there is competition with other streetcars?

While you're at it you could take the PBX to Moosonee. I heard from a friend that "the train leaves you there for three hours. They say it's more than enough."

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

I feel like if the station is to be downtown, it may as well be done now. There's no point in doing it later especially if the initial segment is between ottawa and montreal. I think that tremblay is probably the most pragmatic of the two (probably), and don't really support a bypass (though...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Forgive my French, but if that were the case, wouldn't it be "foche"?

    Ontario Northland/Northern Ontario Transportation

I really think that the number of cottagers that will take the train is negligible or non existent. Most of the time it makes no sense. Maybe for a few mid-season weekends it could work. Imo it will be far more beneficial for permanent residents and perhaps people visiting other people's...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I mean you could make the same argument about any sport or activity. Why would anyone want to watch people hit/throw/kick a ball around, etc...

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

I only read three pages back, so not sure if this has been noted before... but there's a golf course on Kennedy, maybe that could be a potential yard location. Probably expensive but anywhere else would be too?

Land Acknowledgements and Reconciling Our Settler History

I'm not really sure how I feel about land acknowledgements, but they don't really bother me in moderation. I think that they (or things like them) can have a place in large public gatherings that attract a crowd that does not come regularly (ex. Grey Cup, Olympics), or maybe at the first of a...

Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

That's interesting. I wasn't riding at the absolute peak hours this school year, but I've noticed that I have hardly ever seen the subway as busy as it was before. Mind you, there have been some packed streetcars and buses depending on the time Edit: haven't taken the subway since April so I...
