They’re starting to peel off the wrapping on the white panels, I think this building is going to look good.

Inglewood could probably support an urban format grocer similar to the Save On in the Beltline. Not only has the neighborhood population been increasing, but there is a fair bit of drive by traffic heading from DT to Blackfoot/Deerfoot.

It’s a shame they chose red and green, green or red alone with another color like gray or white would’ve been better. Or red with green, but a grayish green of different texture.

Calgary’s winter climate weather is a bit of an issue, but snowmaking machines could solve the issue, I don’t think they would need a lot of snow for this event.

Exactly. The saddle shaped roof with those fluffy noise absorbing pads, made the building seem quieter than it really is. The noise level on the new building will feel more like a typical NHL arena.

That's so true. Before 2015 when downtown Calgary was low office vacancy and 130,000 office workers downtown, it was a place that was midtown Manhattan during the day and a ghost town after 6:00pm. Now, I'm seeing more of a balance. The downtown isn't as busy during work hours, but is busier...

Between Galloway, Beltline Block, the conversion of the Transalta building and 1105 Centre St S, there is going to be a huge increase in population in that area.

I was driving down Crowchild near 26th Ave and there’s construction happening where the Viscount Bennett school used to be. If I recall it was a Minto proposal with some towers?

From the rendering, it looks like the fifth floor isn’t a full floor. I’m guessing maybe a second level with a terrace for the fourth floor units?
