Very long term plans (as shown on the previous version of the City's regional transportation model) did show the C-train eventually swinging norht into Balzac. This is further enshrined in the Northeast Industrial ASP, showing the Blue Line running west along 128th Avenue before curving north...

Memorial and 17th Avenue both would. Plus, the Province has plans for a couple of interchanges on the Trans Canada highway in this area, to also eventually help with the volume of traffic anticipated.
