    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I dunno dude - Chow has done more for transit than Tory did, but she's the one you keep calling "gutless". Where was Tory when we were asking for TSP? And if you think Layton was more "patrician" than Tory, that's even funnier.

Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

It's the only OL transfer station that is underpinned.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I don't know where you're living but $40/hour isn't much in Toronto these days. I think a better place to find wasteful spending would be among Metrolinx's 157 VPs. If anything, Line 6 needs more trams and more operators, though I agree with you that not making the SRT driverless was some TTC...

I'm confused. Is Admiral Beez Jesus here?

I wonder why they're even calling it transit signal priority then...

Dundas West/ Bloor Mobility Hub +interconnected hub network (Metrolinx)

I think the most official of the unofficial timelines from Metrolinx for this connection showed end of this year as the completion date. But recent CLC presentations haven't included the timeline for the connection and ML doesn't seem to be approaching it with urgency. The latest slides don't...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Definitely. The 34 minutes ML originally stated for Line 6 was slow to begin with. Now that it sounds like they'll hit sub-30 and usually beat the bus speed, and do it in a nicer vehicle, Line 6 is looking much better. It also gives me hope that the slow surface section on Line 5 will improve...

Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

What is causing this delay, though? Some of the stations are completely excavated already, like King-Bathurst. Tunnel-boring usually moves fairly quickly unless it gets stuck, as did the Line 2 extension TBM. The only known reason for a delay seems to be the Queen connection reconfiguration...

Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

I always thought of the abandoned line 3 as more of a true subway than line 5, even though it wasn't underground. But to me, subway means metro.

    Toronto Toronto | Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I've been on many streetcars that were behind schedule (as they often are) that did this. Especially the 511. It almost seems like the drivers are brake-checking the vehicle behind them, or it's as if they're scared to hit the speed limit of the road. So yeah I think the TTC is idiotic for this...

    Toronto Toronto | Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Nearly all of the drivers do that and they've been doing it on the streetcars for years too. It's because the TTC is idiotic and insists on it.

Actually, the correct spelling is Gateaux.

Nah he's creating a major problem for Torontonians. He's definitely a luddite geezer. Let's tell it like it is.

Maybe they could advertise it as having 50% less of that dogfood smell that the Eaton and Sherway Apple Stores always have.

Why is every single person who is part of a neighbourhood/"concerned" residents association always such a f***ing moron?

Wow, Line 6 in operation looks pathetic. I doubt they'll speed it up without sustained public outcry.

Are they wondering why a new BMO branch was built? Does anyone go to the bank more than like once a year at this point?

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Had to convert that to metres over here - it works out 33m, so the equivalent of about 11 more residentials storeys in height!

Can't speak for others but I wouldn't be complaining lol
