I'm a little sad about this. Sunterra seems to be the only premium grocery store that can make it work.

Not my favourite design, but not every CMLC building can be world-class. It's giving me Platform vibes, but with wood. The interiors look great though.

If the owner is on this forum, I will gladly take the property off your hands for the same inflation adjusted price. DMs open ;) This was an absolute fleecing. This is considered a TOD site, due to it's proximity to Erlton station. A lot of density will be put on this site eventually.

Great to see. There's so much potential with the parkland surrounding Fort Calgary.

They are no longer entertaining the inverted bowl design, but the concourses are much bigger than what we saw in the old proposal. I am very optimistic this time around. The budget is where it needs to be to deliver something suitable.

I agree - this was in reference to the scale discussion. Activation is a whole other issue. I would love to see some retail at grade, but in reality it will be really difficult to attract retail tenants to this area until the adjacent towers are built out and there's a critical mass of...

For me this really comes down to the architecture, but good points.

Counterpoint - I prefer the scale of Rogers Place. It provides grandness and a better sense of arrival. I think an arena should feel like an arena, not another warehouse block. That said, not having to go up a massive amount of stairs from the main concourse will be a much better user experience...

Hard to believe Edmonton's "new" arena will be 10-11 years old by the time Calgary's is open.
