I drive through mt pleasant and eglinton every day and I was pleased to see all construction barriers removed. It feels like a totally normal intersection, all lanes open. That at least made me feel like progress was being made.

Despite the less than stellar balcony glass, the angles these buildings achieved are very impressive. I call it a win!

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

Closed for 5 years... so be it. Just think about the chaos on Yonge when the subway was constructed. Now it’s an essential transit artery. Ontario Line is a legacy project that will benefit the city or decades (centuries?)

A reputable YouTube skyscraper channel featured a certain Toronto project in a recent video titled Worlds Strangest Future Skyscrapers. Worth a watch!

To think about the amount of towers in that photo that did not exist ten years ago is just mind boggling

I’ve wondered for years why they haven’t sold this place, taken the cash, and moved elsewhere. Let’s hope something materializes from this.

I drove on the DVP today and these buildings really make their mark on east downtown skyline. I think they look nice

Guess I’ve been sleeping on this one. I didn’t even know they started demolition. Second picture taken from the new Farm Boy.

The sheet metal underneath the park looks a lot better than the concrete underneath the Gardner which is much more visible. I don’t mind.

The design is already apparent. I’m very excited.
