It looks like the push is on to complete enough of the plaza to close the pedestrian access to Rogers through the Stantec podium.

This is a great shot of the thicker slab where the hotel floors transition to residential as well as the noticeably higher ceiling height of the 23rd floor (4.05m I believe).

The units are being promoted as 9'-0" and 10'-0" ceilings so I am counting on that being floor to ceiling but as a wise man once said: "There are substantial design inconsistencies between model and renderings, model and reality, and renderings and reality"

I recall hearing that this would happen but I never quite believed that it would. I guess if you provide a larger 'flood plane' for the crowds to disperse you avoid a bottle neck. Huh, who knew?
