Interesting that they are just doing the study, stripping and grading of Huxley and Belvedere is underway now, would expect Memorial to be a major part of the initial construction of that area.

Kind of what I figured. I do expect that having the U of C as a tenant would potentially make it easier to get the various levels of government to contribute. McMahon is a joke, something needs to happen soon!

Flowers and plants are just starting to poke out of the ground at my place, probably a few weeks away from the first flowers still.

Would the University fund some of it? I think having the Dinos keep playing out of McMahon would only help. The City would have to pay a big share of any renovation costs, the Stamps wouldn't fund much. If they could enclose the stadium and actually host big events there, that would help as well.

I have my doubts there will be a new stadium, but I fully expect a massive reno of McMahon in the near future.

It's official, Coyotes sold for $1.2B, will get an expansion team if an arena is built within 5 years. If The Coyotes do come back, then we will need another team in the east to balance things out, wonder who it would be.
