    Billy Bishop Airport Expansion?

Turns out it's a new plane for the province but Ontario had a plane before. AI: Yes, the Province of Ontario has owned and operated Beechcraft King Air turboprop planes as part of its government fleet for transporting officials, including the Premier, the Lieutenant-Governor, and staff. Key...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

If the platform height was lowest height of streetcar (maximum load + maximum wheel/track wear) would that solve this issue?

    Billy Bishop Airport Expansion?

I was going to post the same: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/doug-ford-private-jet-9.7167824

    TTC: Streetcar Network

Does it matter if it's a few inches higher or lower for most use cases? They could also pick the lowest that the streetcar could go with maximum wear and maximum load. Having the streetcar almost level will provide a faster onboarding and off-boarding then the current case. Those with strollers...

    Baldwin/McCaul/Beverley

First time I've seen this called Grange Neighborhood but I'll take it - from today's article: https://urbantoronto.ca/news/2026/04/191-college-bump-45-storeys-would-add-more-affordable-units-no-new-elevators.60811

    East-West Water Shuttle Pilot

Oh, I thought Ontario Place was closed for construction.

    East-West Water Shuttle Pilot

At this point, why would the pilot connect to Ontario Place. I agree that Humber Bay would be very useful and potentially the busiest stop if the service is fast enough,

    TTC Subway Station Construction/Modernization

They should close the station for a couple weeks and expedite the work that doesn't need the subway to be closed. Downtown stations are very close to each other.

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

E-Bikes make more sense for Mississauga as everything is further apart. They need to figure out their docking issue which is tough for Mississauga because it's so big. Personally I would pick an area like Square One, Streetsville or Port Credit, build the cycle infrastructure and slowly expand...

    Baldwin/McCaul/Beverley

That's just the shops located on Baldwin st (maybe leaking outwards to Jimmy's/Krispy Kreme). Places in the surrounding area like the Steelworkers Union building, the McCaul-Orde Park, even George Brown House across the street I wouldn't call part of Baldwin Village today. I've seen maps say...

    Baldwin/McCaul/Beverley

I think the whole block needs to be named something, it's not Discovery District or Chinatown. Maybe call the whole block Baldwin Village and call it a day. Similarly south of Dundas, call the whole area Grange Park?

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

That all seems really slow. If they were to implement all the changes we wouldn't see the majority of the benefit until 2028????

anyone have updated pictures of the courtyard? Any businesses moved in?

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Hopefully they are correct, or simply the Ford govt won't intervene. From Gemini: 1. Bill 212: Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act (2024) This was the first major move by the province. It specifically targets bike lanes but leaves the door open for broader restrictions: Approval Required...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

While I support the initiative, currently provincial approval would be required to reduce lanes (IIRC). The next government *should* rip up that legislation and I'd suggest being ready with a plan for when that happens.

    Toronto Bike Share

Makes me think they should move BikeShare into Niagara Falls!

    Toronto Bike Share

I've done the same sort of thing to South Core/Union. I find most bikes are usable, I don't know if I ever put a bike back because it wasn't rideable. On the docking side, I plan to dock 5 minute walk out from my destination. I don't plan on finding a dock near my location but maybe 3 docks...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Davisville is 4 lanes. I thought this isn't permitted anymore?

Waterfront Transit Reset Phase 1 Study

The best governance and impact on Toronto these past couple decades has been Waterfront Toronto. I have more confidence in them then any other organization here.
