Dang, I like this one quite a lot. Wish it was proposed 7 years ago instead so it actually gets built...

Not sure if this is true for anyone else, but this is one of those few buildings actually being built in Toronto that I did not see happening early on. Seemed more conceptual somehow. Good to see it's here and can't wait until it's finished!

Personally, I think this is turning out better than I had originally thought way back when everything was in limbo. It's promising now imo.

This is a great addition to the neighbourhood. Can't wait until it's done.

Damn, same exact thing was done to Toronto House and I remember being a bit disappointed initially. Still wish that top bit wasn't visible. Seems pretty obvious to hide it IMO.

Yeah, this is gonna be a beauty.

    I like it a lot 🤷‍♂️

It's "fine" in my opinion, but they rightly changed the name from "Signature Tower" because they knew this isn't it. At all.

I'm a fan. Loved everything about this from the speed to completion to the slick minimal design and it also doesn't look cheap. Nice job overall 👍

I like to imagine that it's actually only 5 guys working on the building and then the project becomes really impressive and speedy.

Yeah, it's weird. I actually thought you added that with photoshop cause it just looks so wrong...

I've always viewed this as a "visionary" or conceptual thing... is this actually happening? 👀

Coming along beautifully! Will be a nice addition to the neighbourhood.

LOL I came to the comments to write something similar. What are they thinking with this?

Very slick. I'm a fan of this glass 👍

Looks absolutely awful. I guess it's refreshing that it's not an aspirational render for a change and they're just being transparent with their intentions of mediocrity?

We're alllllll with you. Apparently the plan is to be fashionably late and keep the suspense up while lurking these pages laughing at us.

    Toronto Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Great pic! One thing I had to point out though, is that except for a couple small details (like CIBC square), this could have been taken in 2008 🤔

Does anyone know approx how many floors are rising per week for the tower portion?
