Possibly this is a dumb question, but could those bits of cladding on the corner be test pieces so workers can perfect installing them before they start working with the ‘real’ ones? Is that a thing? Renders suggest that the cladding is one continuous piece from the corner over to the column...

My hunch — based on this rendering — is that the overlapping portion might be transparent, and you’ll see the banding through it. (Or perhaps that’s an optical illusion 😀). 📷: UT project page

Me too - but I imagine it’ll all be covered in protective film, so quite a while yet before we see the full impact.

I‘d be curious to know if developers have to agree that they won’t value engineer HP designs; the exterior finishes typically turn out pretty great. Or is it more the case that the developers who choose HP tend to care more about quality?
