Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

It says in the middle of 2030. Not middles 2030s. There is no S. You say that as a joke. But contracts have planned milestones and end dates. They absolutely know (plan) when the station should be finished.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

At intersections (and in general) I make sure to pass from the left. So I rarely have that happen. My main grievance is with people switching lanes and almost hitting me, and other is when they turn left at a light without looking out for bikers going forward. And I have flashing lights on my...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Yes. all 2 of them.* /s *Based on what txlseries4 is saying As a person who cycles most often (and I do drive as well), I find many people driving turn without looking! I got an action camera now to record my rides for safety and for reports. I also have had many instances of people driving...

    Ottawa Transit Developments

I think you have gotten all your train model names mixed up. Eglinton uses Flexity Freedom, and the TTC Streetcars use Flexity Outlook. Formally made by Bombardier. Now part of Alstom. Ottawa's Line 1/Confederation Line uses Alstom's Citadis Spirit.

Dundas West/ Bloor Mobility Hub +interconnected hub network (Metrolinx)

Doesn't matter. The camera's been removed. I can walk as fast as I want with no recourse now!

Yonge Street Revitalization (Downtown Yonge BIA/City of Toronto)

I agree with your sentiment about going in circles. But the issue with the shuttles and night buses was resolved back in 2020 with the design including Automatic Barriers. In the early morning hours, the gates would be opened for night buses and general traffic. And assume the same can be done...

Yonge Street Revitalization (Downtown Yonge BIA/City of Toronto)

The Councilor for the area started a petition to close off 2 blocks in the Church Wellesley Village this summer as a pilot. I suggest you sign it to get the ball rolling. :) From the petition: This might inform how future pedestrianization on Yonge would be done. More on this thread...

    Church Street Pedestrianization Pilot

Larger closures were considered but were pushed off for future years. Apparently, after "conversations with numerous internal and external stakeholders." Note how they were trying to figure out the connections to the Anvil Lane parking lot.

    Church Street Pedestrianization Pilot

It seems that Chris Moise, the Councilor for the Church-Wellesley Village, is proposing a pilot project to pedestrianize 2 blocks for the summer. The closure would be from Wellesley Street E to Alexander Street. His timeline is saying that planning started in November 2025 and would last until...

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

Sometimes it feels like Kitchener-Waterloo is the only 'medium-sized city' that seems to be doing things right. The LRT, ION, and now this central station. The targeted density to save farmland. The tech hubs.
