They did consider this! The glass area parapets with no structure behind uses a heated glass to melt ice build up. 👍

It will be Viracon's VRE1-59 glass. The same glass that was used here http://viracon.com/projects/view/id/1065 and here http://viracon.com/projects/view/id/702
