I was looking at the Belmont website and the bulk of the neighborhood is getting built by Anthem Properties so a TOD in Belmont might actually be a thing....? An LRT expansion with the 194/Macleod exchange looks good for the south neighborhoods.

Belmont is essentially advertising that there will be a future LRT on the right (South bound) side of the tracks. Looking at the map of Somerset/Bridlewood station, the LRT lines are on the right side of the train tracks.
Therefore the extension of the red line wouldn't necessarily be built on...

Yep - CCC is moving to where A1 café used to be and the current location on 17th will be closed down. In their Instagram page it's saying they will be moving sometime in mid to late November.
Calcutta cricket club (right beside the demolition) is moving locations to where A1 café used to be - also the building next to CCC has been unoccupied for sometime.
We'll have to see what happens to this block but this is a waste of potential...
