Usually the rule of thumb is 1-1.5 floor a week on average. With 23 floors left to go that is about 30-35 weeks aka 8 ish months

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

2B appears to be the likely choice however it will likely not extend east for decades, whereas 2A is more primed to expand east sooner imo

Any update on why the Crosstown Place has not be occupied as of yet? It is already the middle of 2024?

I assume the aim is top out Block 5A by the end of the year before the snow starts which seems doable. 23 floors in 7 months. Podium 4/4 floors (100%) Midrise 4/9 Floors (44%) High Rise 4/27 Floors (15%)

Western tower topped out in May. Resources have been diverted to the Middle and Eastern buildings hence they are going up quickly now. Spring / Summer weather is when they work the quickest so expect these to top out before the end of the summer June 1 Status Update Western Tower Mechanical...

TBH it is just a matter of time. EGLRT will start impacting flemo within 2-3 years however Thorncliffe Park will be safe for another 7-8 years imo as EGLRT won't impact that area as much, quicker to take 25 to Pape Station. If you are thinking of buying real estate this is the area lol Many of...

I think we are beyond the point of return regarding gentrification of flemo and Thorncliffe, it is a forgone conclusion once Eglinton LRT and Ontario Line are in operations these areas wont house many of the people that are there today. This is just reality unfortunately.

Once the western tower tops out in April / early May more resources will be diverted to the Middle and Eastern buildings. Spring / Summer weather is when they work the quickest so expect these to top out rather quickly. Western Tower Approximately 31 out of 32 = 97% (Occupancy - Jan 2025 - 9...

Ontario Line would be quicker to downtown / more efficient than line 2. I can only imagine how much more the rent will go up in Thorncliffe / Flemo. Good luck to the current residents.
  13. T

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s

Flemo and Thorncliffe will end up gentrifying and whoever lives there now will expect significant rent uptakes making it unaffordable once OL comes in

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

All parties have indicated that they will let all existing projects continue as is. Also next election is late 2026 by then all constructions will be well under progress and have poison pills in them to cancel them. Important to keep in mind all the tunnels /elevated guideways will likely be...

Ford is winning the next election easy. He is spearheading the largest transit expansion in history that no other Premier was able to pull off.

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Another winter for folks to take busses on eglinton will be very challenging and disappointing for riders. Also the snow logic doesn't make sense because as we all know snow storms can last all the way till April lol. An announcement for the opening date has to be made by end of 2024 or else...
