    I like how the leaf pattern is abstracted and not so clearly literal, as it could look tired and tacky over time, however, the leaf motif will be lost or be more obscure when the building is occupied with the white window coverings.

    I was looking back at the mock-up Westbank presented at an event back in September of 2021. The joints are black but the backing has more of a silvery reflective look. There’s less of a contrast compared to the newest sample which the backing appears to be white.

    That’s unfortunate and disappointing. The plaza most likely won’t be occupied and animated by a patio (which it was designed for) and the windows covered from the public — the building will continue to look unfinished, dead and uninviting at the street level.

    There is less terracing and step backs on the south side of the building so that side of the building is more uniform and repetitive compared to the other sides of the building.
