I recall recently seeing this site on a list of properties owned by McMaster... Is this proposal coming from Mac/ Knightstone? Or who's the prospective developer proposing this joke?

That place is legendary. Designed by Eb Zeidler, who also designed Toronto's Eaton Centre and Toronto's Trump tower. More info about it from the Ontario Architecture Association here...

Photo from today. The building is topped off on the east side, nearing structural completion. Windows are in across most of the floors 2 and 3.

LOL you can tell by the background that the promo graphic team put the building at 1107 Main St EAST rather than West! How incredibly amateur.

It's fun seeing this building pop up in views from areas around downtown because of its superior height relative to Hamilton's previous generations of apartment buildings. I love the view of the crown from Caroline in Durand here.

Yep, everything about the site plan on this one is horrible horrible horrible.

If I were told a week ago that one proposed development in the Hamilton area was destined for non-approval, this very well might have been the one I would have identified. The only good argument for this was density for the sake of density. The neighbourhood is neither well-serviced for that...
