It's levels 62 AND 76, not 62 TO 76. I don't see an interdimensional conflict here. EDIT: beaten

And technically, the tallest building wouldn't be occupying the actual site of the Star building, though it is part of the complex.

I love this shot; it looks like a scene straight out of a sci-fi movie.

Hard to believe the RBC building is almost 50 years old. I remember watching it go up as a kid.

If they don't mind springing for a couple more letters, it could be renamed "The Ounce".

It'll look like a squared-off version of TD Terrace.

Man, the Gardiner's in REALLY rough shape.

I'm not in construction, but one reason could be because it's easier to deliver large items, supplies, and heavy equipment to a given floor when there aren't any windows in the way.

Benito can't share coffee with the workers, but he just might be able to toss them a roll of toilet paper in an emergency

I remember everyone joking about @Benito passing coffee over when they reached eye level. Can't believe that day is here. I also can't believe the building is only a third of its (requested) height.

There wasn't an overall Japanese theme; I was talking about the one suite they modeled after a Japanese inn, as referenced in the 1973 clipping above.

These are going to be amazing buildings, but I still wish they'd stuck with the 2013 cladding, even with only the two buildings. That would've been an absolute standout.

Wow does this bring back memories. My mom worked in PR for the Prince Hotel in the mid-70s; I got to see the Japanese suite and we ate at the Katsura on the regular. I can't believe it's still there.

Holy mackerel, I remember those tile mosaics when I visited the Eaton Centre as a teenager.
