I've typically brought visitors to Toronto along Queen West & upon reaching Spadina told them "we're heading to Chinatown now" as I led them north, so I guess in a way, it's always been a kind of entrance in my mind. Wish we could have a super swanky giant gate across Spadina there... but modern...

I don't know that it matters if we follow one nomenclature rule or another. People get around Tokyo just fine and the names of the stations there can be based on historical districts, random local landmarks, geographical features, etc., many of which may no longer exist. Nor do they hesitate to...

Where the trail branches off from Taylor Creek, it seems they are going to add fencing that will prevent hikers or bikers from accessing the trail on the north side of the river coming from the Don Valley Parkway underpass:

It's too bad the bollards are not still there at Union. We could strictly admonish the engineering students in the city to NOT move them to Yonge as part of their grad year prank. 😉

Sorry, I should have said "all stops from Don Valley to Kennedy" since it's effectively a streetcar on that stretch, but regardless, I recognize it's unrealistic.

I'd be tempted to suggest making some stops "request only" in order to test how often they're actually requested, but with some stops being so close, would we run the risk that people would be hitting the "please stop" button when it might already be challenging to stop?
