I don't fully agree that criticism is cynicism. Being critical is part of the way to making things better. One could argue that then doing nothing past criticism is cynicism, but speaking for myself I'm constantly involved. I email the CoA regularly with feedback, generally supportive, I email...

You don't have to believe the speculation, but I don't see any issue with the speculation itself. It's half what this forum discusses?

I mean... They don't even know that they're on level 7 on the southeast corner... So like 🤷‍♂️. This is just some marketing employee. (Not to discount those people, my partner works in marketing) They don't always know the exact details of a projects.

Not too much progress, but it appears they are nearing the end of excavation, digging the last bit out.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I don't really see how policy banning Cycling Infrastructure isn't on topic for a thread titled... "Cycling Infrastructure". I looked at post #1 of this thread and don't see a defined topic scope.

This post has some cool 3D render shots I don't recall having seen before at the beginning and end:

General cycling issues (Is Toronto bike friendly?)

I don't really care. I was hit on my bicycle for the second time two weeks ago, people regularly yell at me, close pass me and try to kill me when on my bicycle. I don't really care about people's feelings on my responses to their clearly insensitive and illogical ramblings about bike lanes...

Anyone know what this structure underground is for? Is it a sump pit?

Usually at a restaurant you'd get either or, but for a true Italian restaurant, they should be providing starter bread for sure.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I don't know if it's been posted here, and I'm not familiar with the forum's stance on advocacy, but there might be a protest ride in planning. If anyone is interested message me and once the details are closer I can share. If you already know about it, then even better.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Switches, tracks are in place in Hamilton past West Harbour. I guess the rails are set beside the space and then are shifted over onto the railroad ties? I'm not incredibly familiar with the installation process.

I suspect they will leave it if they plan to build. The two towers that we know for sure are under construction are likely 2+ years away from completion, so the site will still be active. I only see the third tower start being delayed by maybe 6-18 months max as they work to sell the remaining...

Looks like they're starting to dig out the last level of dirt (clay) and pour a pad soon. Odd site, some days it's packed with workers, other days there's like 3 workers:

Exterior cladding has to be coming soon, with interior ductwork on the lower levels installed:
