Someone sent me a few, there's a way to find out. I think it may be something accessible to only Urban planner and real estate folks. Edit: they looked through the land registry.

Looks like the roof is pretty much done. Drywall was getting dropped off today and being fed into the newer of the two buildings.

This has been reported to the city. They have advised they will speak with the site manager and enforce if they view this occurring. Haven't been by since they started, so I didn't even think about the mess.

Just absolutelyyyy loving that the concrete truck is in the most used bicycle lane in the city... Will be making sure I go by and report them so they can get those tasty $200 fines.

I don't imagine any part of the structure will remain. They may be required to maintain parts for heritage reasons. And it remains to be seen if those will be utilized in the rebuilt version. It surely won't be a brick structure as it is today if rebuilt.

Also if anyone is looking to laugh at the state of Hamilton's 2013 real estate market, check out that YouTube video. Legitimately hilarious

Correct, the one with Plank on the ground floor and rooftop. It is a long term stay hotel. A friend of mine stayed there for around a month recently following an issue in their place that required them to temporarily vacate.

This one is already partnered with the Laundry Rooms and Equal Parts. It appears at least that this is some kind of weird legacy project. Laundry Rooms has a hotel already in Hamilton, and it appears Equal Parts would be operating the ground floor restaurant. That doesn't necessarily mean it...

Absolutely, just approve stamp. That being said, it's crazy how insanely inefficient some "dense" proposals are because of automobile requirements and set backs. Without a proper analysis, I'd just estimate that 75%-80% of the property is asphalt and grass, with only 20%-25% being actual...

    Hamilton Toronto | The Point | 19.25m | 6s | Yoke Group | Lintack

Very excited to see this done. Yoke has been doing solid midrise, and getting some businesses along here for the bicycle commuters to stop at will be great (I love you Phin but this section of road is spooky to cross in the morning, still go when I can though).

    Hamilton 152 King Street West | 41m | 12s | Vrancor + Equal Parts

Having spoken to those who know Darko personally or through business, he ultimately thinks of himself as a businessman first, a hotelier second, and a legacy builder lately third. Building a memorable boutique hotel next to the arena achieves all three. In the Hamilton of yesteryear with...
  12. Chris R.

    Hamilton 152 King Street West | 41m | 12s | Vrancor + Equal Parts

Considering the current rental market and the hotel market, I'd put my money on a hotel project across from a multi-million dollar arena renovation happening before start of a rental tower right next to two new rental towers that will likely take 3-5 years to reach full occupancy themselves...

    Hamilton Toronto | TD Coliseum Renovations | ?m | 4s | OVG | BBB

That would be kind of crazy for Hamilton. An AHL team, Lacrosse, and PWHL, in addition to its regular hosting of big name concerts? Hamilton is already noticeably busier downtown, partly as a result of this venue, but it would be so much busier still if they can pull that off.
  14. Chris R.

    Hamilton 152 King Street West | 41m | 12s | Vrancor + Equal Parts

So they made it more difficult to demolish because developers were demolishing buildings that shouldn't be and sat as an empty lot for years to decades. Now they went back to the old way because they can't be bothered to enforce rules around... Checks notes... Making sure buildings are...

    Hamilton 152 King Street West | 41m | 12s | Vrancor + Equal Parts

I thought they can only get a demolition permit if the site plan is submitted and approved? Additionally. With no other obvious projects following the two on King St at Queen and Caroline, I wouldn't be surprised if they move quickly on this.

    Hamilton 152 King Street West | 41m | 12s | Vrancor + Equal Parts

This one is moving quickly. I hope they don't mess with the sidewalk and bicycle lane for three years for construction like the McMaster and other Vrancor project did
