Pedestrianizing the circle has really improved the public realm here. From yesterday:

Are people living in them then? I meant livability in terms of affordability. Obviously the buildings are different, but they’re both housing built for investors in mind rather than residents

Skinny supertalls on a high value street that cater to foreign investors to park+wash their money rather than creating livable spaces

Are we getting our own Billionaire’s Row? maybe there won’t be too many people actually living in this building

Sorry for the crap pics, but holy hell this building sticks out like a green thumb! I do hope they're still testing, because the lighting looks super tacky at night; it draws all attention to itself rather than being a highlight on skyline.

Thanks for this, never thought of it like that. I always got annoyed when people stand on the left. Although walkers 'take up more space', they are moving faster, so the volume being moved should still be similar or better no? A solution to balance the sides would be switch the "up" and "down"...

From yesterday: Really like how The One compliments 2 Bloor W: The view here would be wonderful: if Pemberton stayed as a pit:

Mizhrahi's "Park", with The One in the background. Taken today:

    Yonge-Dundas Square/Sankofa Square (Brown + Storey Architects)

Isn't that the point? I don't know many new yorkers who hang out at Times Square either. I don't like having hornet traps on my balcony, but it keeps them localized to a certain spot. Dundas Square is the same for tourists

but somehow The One moved to west of Bay St
