I wish the Harry Rosen store area could be extended to match this building's street wall. And then a new urbanistic facade across the entire Yonge Eaton frontage.
They need to preserve the entire 20s height of the existing building to maintain its sense of verticality. That's how it was always intended, even if it was built in two phases.
I can't stand when there is a brick podium but it has a fully glass corner. It makes the rest of the brick look 2d/pasted on instead of achieving the 'street wall' feeling that these podiums are supposed to replicate in the first place.
Glad to see increasing projects without balconies on every unit. It’s inefficient in our climate and they’re usually just plonked on without architectural articulation.
