There's plenty of buildings that have gone up in Toronto which could've been much better, this is not one of them.

    Toronto Toronto | Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Westbank | Hariri Pontarini

That bright blue building really sticks out. Wish we had a few more buildings that made use of bold and brash colors instead of being so overly conservative with colors and materials. Too many would be tacky to be sute but too few has lead to a sea of monotony. No complaints about 19D of...

No idea what you just said there but it sure does sound cool 😎

That's a cool skyline perspective! Ya ought to take more shots from up there

    Toronto Toronto | Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

I'm mean think about it, you don't just SUDDENLY get 14 cracked wheels that are condemnable at the same time. These fuckers haven't been doing their jobs and have been putting the public at risk for a while now. He says the maintenance staff is not the problem because apparently they been short...

    Toronto Toronto | Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

"Over the course of regular inspections this past weekend, our team discovered hairline cracks in the brake discs on some of our UP Express trains,” Metrolinx said in an emailed statement. Wow, flat out obsucfaction and lies. . Word from a contact of mine is that apparently this was only...

GO Transit: Union Station Shed Replacement & Track Upgrades (Zeidler)

The speed through the shed has never been more than 15 in GO's existence. IIRC the speed was further reduced to 10mph after Daniel Panacci tragic death on Apr 29th, 2015(RIP). After that incident GO transit was criticized for unsafe platform conditions and rightfully so. They absolutely had to...

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I for one am 100% certain it will catch and surpass The One before either are done. The One started going up in June 2019, took 14 months just to reach the ground level in July 2020 then another 19 months to complete the podium levels(height of the adjacent elevator core) in Feb 2022. In the...

The buildings aren't great but the density along Wellington St is impressive

Your right, back in my day "lol" used to mean something but now it's mostly just filler... Like 90% of the buildings going up in this city(or 99% of the girls you see on Instagram) 😌 Thankfully this building is not one of them. Maybe he's just "loling" because he can't believe such a high...

Tru it is a little on the jarring side when he gets into it. And hopefully the crown when completed gives it the appearance of having lost some heft, but still love it either way.

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

Some posters are so negative they could really use a sip of eggnog to help them cheer up a bit. The ones on this page are a couple of them 🙃

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

Where's the eye roll emoji ut? Could really use it for some of these posts 🙄 These towers are turning out ok, they're nothing special but they're far from the disaster that the renders made them look like they were going to be. Some of you clearly just can't concede that Concord didn't butcher...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

More or less what I mean, the first train would sit there for an hour until it was time to go then go west while the second train was 5 or so minutes out from Kitchener. First train would clear the switch change directions hence the few extra minutes for the crew to do so and then be sent into...

    Toronto Toronto | Quayside | ?m | ?s | Dream

"Architect David Adjaye Associates, Alison Brooks Architects, Henning Larsen Architects, Two Row Architect, Benoy, KPMB Architects" "Architect of Record architects—Alliance" I'm confused, who exactly is the architect responsible for the design of these buildings? And are the above renderings...

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Not entirely correct. There is one, Kitchener itself. Basically a train comes in makes its stop and then dwells at Kitchener for about an hour. In that time the next westbound train makes its way from Gtown to Kitchener. Then the first train departs westward until it gets to the single track...

    Toronto Toronto | Toronto House | 186.53m | 58s | Westbank | Hariri Pontarini

Why were you planning on buying there? It's not wide open but there's a few feet* between the column and the glass.

    Yup this is our Bender building. But it's a much sleeker model than the original;

When did it get chopped? Didn't realize it was originally taller. Great project overall but it does seem a little bit on the stubby side, was expecting a few more stories before the roofline started but here we are.
