Feel like I've been negative on this front but it's looking like another tough year ahead for passenger numbers at YEG with Jan & Feb already seeing lower numbers. Fuel prices aren't exclusive to YEG but it does tend to get hit harder than others. Things change quickly though so who knows.

It's probably similar to federal ridings on a different scale where it's not just population but physical area served that is a factor. Never a perfect solution but I think accusations of gerrymandering is a bit harsh.
