    If you look at any successful neighborhood... Kensington, Marda loop, 17th, bridgeland, Inglewood... they all have retail at ground level which is what makes pedestrian friendly, vibrant, safe streets (all of which have very high occupancy rates). Building purely residential is short sighted...

    Another missed opportunity on 37th!!! Why is there no retail on the main floor... the whole point of revamping 37th was to make it a "main street".... now it's just going to turn into a mess of single family houses, residential apartments and infills. Just like 26th is, it will be a pedestrian...

    I couldn't agree more. There is such a missed opportunity here by not building a mixed use building, especially with the commercial buildings already across the street....really disappointed by it.

    Possibly this development by Sarina? https://liveworkcloseout.com I agree, really enjoy this scale and typology also and hope to see more of it along that street! They have done something similar on 17th ave as well.

    Yeah, I agree... Many other streets, especially more inner city, could have used upgrades before 37th.
