Article: Cityscape Development and Dundee Realty's Clear Spirit Condos Begin To Angle

Pure Spirit has only been up for a few years. Wait till it's modern feel is gone and it's just another glass apartment. The distillary is supposed to be our only authentic "old Toronto" area like MTL or Que City and we're allowing these short term appealing glass towers to kill the vibe of the era.

Article: Cityscape Development and Dundee Realty's Clear Spirit Condos Begin To Angle

Evocative Images Of Lost Toronto: Early 1950's Skyline

A major shipping hub it was at this time. Think of how it will look 60 years from now and then look back at how it was today. Something tells me all those glass condos are gonna seriously look run downed or torn downed at that point.

Toronto Growing Up: The Start of Toronto's Skyline in 1971

Notice how the east extension on the Royal York doesn't have the same amount of coal debris as the older part, as this extension was constructed in the 60's when the trains were changing to electric. The older part of the building was eventually sand blasted and cleaned.
