    Edmonton | ICE District Phase 2 | 149.95m | ?s | ICE District Prop.

I wonder if Katz's involvement will be more on the management side. Have OEG manage Commonwealth similar to how they manage Rogers. Be responsible for the programming etc etc, they done a really good job with keeping Rogers and the surrounding area programmed with different events and shows so...

    Edmonton | CNIB Redevelopment | 106m | 32s | ONE Properties | Wallman Architects

Went to Va this weekend and it was fantastic.

    Edmonton | ICE District Phase 2 | 149.95m | ?s | ICE District Prop.

For a realistic site for a new stadium, they'd need a space at least 300m by 200m for the building (using Regina and Winnipeg as examples) nevermind the associated infrastructure. Could squeeze a smaller soccer specific stadium in something 250m x 200m (BMO Field, Allianz Park in Minnesota...

Came across this on HFBoards. Interesting...

    The Edmonton Elks - CFL

They own the Spruce Grove Saints (who've moved from the AJHL to the BCHL).

    The Edmonton Elks - CFL

I don't know who it would be if not Katz. Anyone else in Edmonton got that kind of play money?

    Edmonton | Bonnie Doon Mall Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

The one machine is like a foamed asphalt grinder thing so it is probably just new base/pavement.

Would this be their way of making up for the monthballed South Hospital? Increase capacity at the existing campuses and adding different services etc?

    Edmonton | ICE District Phase 2 | 149.95m | ?s | ICE District Prop.

Looking at comparable situations, I can't see a new stadium being the preferred path forward. Recent New Stadiums: - Winnipeg, capacity ~33,000, cost $210 million (began const. 2010) - Saskatchewan, capacity ~33,000, cost $278 million (began const. 2014) - Toronto/BMO Field, capacity ~31,000...

I mean what do we think will become of Westmount? It doesn't have the LRT connection that Bonnie Doon has to become a full TOD but it is connected to a transit centre. Any chance we could see some residential, or are we looking at more strip mall sorta fate similar to Capilano?

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Five times weekly in the winter? That is a big get for YEG. Wonder if it'll be increased more during the summer or whether it will be 5 times weekly year round. Regardless, great news.

I'll have to disagree. I love it.

    Downtown Real Estate

No idea what is all required but it would be nice if the exterior got a bit of a refresh. The red is a nice unique colour but looks a little worn. Wonder if some aspects of the theatre will change now that the City will own it. More potential for multiuse spaces? Programming opportunities with...

    Edmonton | Boyle Street Community Services | ?m | 2s

To play devil's advocate, would Bill 18 even be applicable here? Wouldn't the agreement technically be with Boyle Street Community Services and not the municipality? Or am I misunderstanding how these funding agreements work.

    Edmonton | Stantec Tower | 250.84m | 66s | ICE District Prop.

Anyone know if there's something going in north of Henry Singer? I was through last week and the the windows were all papered up and someone was working on one of the interior doors. Or has it been like that for a while?

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

The right of way already exists through Old Strathcona the only unknown at this point is probably how it will get across the river (whether via HLB or a new structure). There's no way the streetcar is even a consideration for a project of this magnitude, especially considering the province owns...

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

I listened to the news conference today and there were a few interesting details despite it being a relatively high level announcement of a plan to create a plan. It is good to see the government trying to get a cohesive plan together since that will help support the viability of the other...

    Downtown

Maybe the SE corner of 104 Street and 103 Ave? Has main and basement floor like the drawings. Terrace space would make sense given current raised loading dock there? Window count/orientation seems to align along the left side of the building too.
