The former retail plaza and Eagle gas station has been fenced off at the SW corner of Pape & Gamble.

Although no details on what's being planned here yet. Would be nice to see a mid-rise here, Pape Village has good bones but so far not much development interest has materialized.

We're getting a one-storey building, 2 retail units, the principal one is a new 9,000sq ft Shoppers Drug Mart.

No density, no mixed use.......sigh.........an improvement on its current state, I suppose....

Disappointment indeed. What a waste of a site that could have easily accommodated additional density up top.
