These are two existing older rental buildings broadly in the range of midrise heights.

I'm not quite sure what's up here.........a preliminary look at the site suggests that the surface parking/unimproved lawn would be difficult to make use of here with the extant buildings massed as they are today.
But when one looks at the area height precedents, I don't see the economic case for tearing down what's there. Hmmmmmm
