2053 Dufferin is a Green P parking lot.

A report headed to the next meeting of the Toronto Parking Authority on February 8th, 2021, recommends the lot be declared surplus as Green P has lost money on it every year for the last 14 years.

The lot is located on Dufferin about 2 blocks north of Rogers Road.

It will be offered to other City of Toronto divisions first, and if there are no takers, it will go on the open market.

Not necessarily a very happening node, but a little node nonetheless at Dufferin & Rogers. There's a mix of retail and some lowrise apartment buildings along this stretch of Dufferin for a few blocks. Wouldn't mind seeing this lot hit the open market and becoming a midrise residential building with commercial/retail uses at base.

This part of the city has huge potential... but Dufferin needs a redesign. Walking there is terrifying.

...especially during the winter with steep icy slopes and the area having an increasingly geriatric demographic.
