Just noticed that the concrete balcony fencing is being ripped out on 25 Mabelle Avenue Apartments on Bloor and Islington... does anyone have news what it will be replaced with? This apartment building is overdue for renovations and am curious what are their renovation plans. Will be it replaced with tinted glass balcony to bring a better skyline for "Downtown Etobicoke"?

They're replacing them with steel and glass rails.

Heh, I'm looking out my window and seeing them working on it now--didn't know what they were doing before. I wish 25 Mabelle didn't partly block my view of the downtown skyline, but it something of an improvement for the neighbourhood.

Yup it will be the black tinted glass. They have one row done already on the south west side.

Does anyone know if any other buildings same as 25 Mabelle Avenue would follow the same with balcony renovations?
