SOLD: 2811 DUFFERIN STREET

Urbanation, via their twitter feed, is reporting that Lanterra has purchased 2811 Dufferin Street, a multi-tenant industrial building, just south of Glencairn.

The transaction is an interesting one. Currently zoned as ‘MC – Industrial Commercial Holding Classification’, the site is one that could make for a very interesting boutique infill development.

With almost a full acre to work with, Lanterra could develop an impressive building that would enhance the area while respecting the planning limitations that would be put in place. Consider what they have recently done at 3018 Yonge St. as a model for what could come to 2811 Dufferin St.

Now if if they can only level and re-develop the rest of the crap on both sides of the street all the way up to Yorkdale Mall.
