And since it's not even open yet, it's the perfect time to rename it...

I'm just thinking of that poor intersection of Eglinton Ave. E. and Don Mills Rd. which has to be ripped up all over again to to put in this new station and line...

Ideally yeah. That said, the ECLRT station will be at least 7 or 8 years old by the time the OL opens, so the current signage wouldn't have been a total waste.
