Very nice to have the tavern "retained" (in a sense) a little sad to see the frankenstein collection of buildings go but as I said in the other thread, that is life.

Kudos to the developer retaining the tavern when they don't need to.

Podium fits the area and I like the interaction with the market.

nice! will have to dive further in later but good to see movement on this site.

podium looks good, tower is a bit meh for me. happy to see carleton "retained". glad they are trying to emphasize the pedestrian focused connection across armstrong.

Another 120m+ tower? Oh baby!!!

I am going to love Tunney's continuation of the skyline from Lebreton. Wow. We are going to look TALL!!!! This is so awesome. I am so amped!!

RIP Carlton. Not many places left in town where you buy quarts.

For everyone out there going on about dive bar this and dive bar that.

You haven't lived unless you went to the Concorde on Montreal road. Back when they still had the off track betting upstairs. The motel itself was more or less a womens shelter. And next to the off track betting was the Salvation Army thift store. Think about that trifecta for a moment.

Urinals went all the way to the floor as god intended.

No beer taps. Just bottles and Canadian club. My friend asked for a whisky sour once and the server was like.. nah we dont do that here. The carpet should probably have been considered heritage.

As much as I used to goto Finnegans I would often find myself in that dank basement with no windows.
