Hate that there is even a 24/30s option, but wow that podium looks great either way! Definitely a throwback to Les Terrasses and goes very well with City Hall.
This is a pretty great project. The understated design doesn't compete or distract (in good ways or bad) from the Museum of Civilization. The ground level is fantastic. Red masonry is the goat of podium materials.
I hope AG sees the effort Brigil put into this in response to criticism of Place des Peuples, which in my opinion was way over the top.

Are they debating which size to build? The taller one (obviously?) looks better in my opinion and I love the variety in heights between these two and the existing tower next door.

Brigil is submitting a request to build the taller one, while the smaller one is what they can build that was already approved.
If this goes up along with the 16 story tower, and we/3 is almost up, where does Gatineau rank on it's own in Canadian skylines? Somewhere between Kelowna and KW? Maybe even higher than KW, closer to London?

I love this proposal. Between this and the last few projects Brigil has proposed, I'd be very happy to see these go up. It helps.
I'd definitely say Gatineau's Skyline will be much better with these. Now we just need Brigil to break ground on 4 of these major proposals (Greyhound, Baseline, the one near Carling, and this).

Hull already had an impressive skyline even before the builds from the last decade. I'd definitely rank it higher than anything in Ontario outside Ottawa and the GTA. The Brigil project would definately get it higher than Kelowna (which overtook Hull on the last 5 years).

The mayor not that long ago said we need to address the housing crisis.If the city votes no on this all those words about the housing crisis means nothing.

They seemed open to it when it first came to light. I hope that the City sees the efforts Brigil made to address legitimate concerns with Place des Peuples and approve this one.
