I don't see a thread or can find one, but demolition is taking place for this block now.

Site is own by Ontario Infrastructure and Land Corporation Photo to follow

This is the former Trinity Studios building and a Demolition Permit is "Ready for Issuance" for this buildinga nd 65 Trinity.

Application: Demolition Folder (DM) Status: Ready for Issuance

Location: 373 FRONT ST E
TORONTO ON M5A 1G4

Ward 28: Toronto Centre-Rosedale

Application#: 11 243676 DEM 00 DM Accepted Date: Jul 22, 2011

Project: Other Demolition

Description: Proposal to demolish existing 3 sty WHOLESALE, DISPLAY AND STORAGE BUILDING. Also see demo for adjacent property at 65 Trinity St.

The permit for 65 Trinity is "Under Review"

In the Pan-Am Games plan this whole block is reserved for the bus parking area so I doubt any building (or Ferris Wheel?) will appear there for several years. It is not clear to me if the proposal/idea of the Gansvoort Hotel plans for 60 Mill Street (the old Rack House) just south of 65 Trinity will be partly built on this block.

There has been some discussion of this block in the Corktown thread.

The permit has been issue as material from inside is outside. I thought I shot the south looking view on Trinity for this building and looks like I did not as it would show the scrap material.
