A proposal to renovate the property at 8 Britain Street (between George and Sherbourne, south of Queen East), and convert it from residential into a retail commercial usage.

The building will become a retail showroom space for Montauk, who produce custom made sofas in Montreal. Their current Toronto store location is at King West & Sherbourne.

Anything that reverses EIFS cladding on a structure has my blessing, it's got to be the worst cladding material since Insulbrick.

Unfortunately, Corso Italia has been getting even more EIFS after Osmow's opened and renovated the NW corner of St. Clair & Dufferin.

Ugh. A pox on our city. The stuff ages horribly fast and is far too prone to damage.
