Earlier today, across from Trinity Bellwoods Park. (Boy, you couldn't get a patch of grass there this afternoon.)

This is by Plaston Architect, it seems—if the developers (2425300 ONTARIO LIMITED) stuck with them, although the plans on file don't exactly look like what's being built. Toronto Planning recommended against the variance required to add to this building, but the CoA approved it.

Anyone know more about this other than what's in this post and the one above?

I like the fact that they are exposing the red brick and what they are doing along the Strachan Avenue side. Love these incremental intensifications.

I don't have a problem with painting brick (it looked pretty deteriorated) or galvalume steel siding but, something is off on this one. I'm not fond of the windows and trimwork on the addition either.
