I was thinking of starting a thread on this project as I drive by it several times / week. Two cranes have been up since last fall... it appears they are well along on the first floor at this point. Maybe I can get some progress pics soon.

sorry, I am just so lazy about photos these days. There are a couple of other significant projects in Niagara... the NF Convention and Civic Centre http://www.fallsconventions.com/ which is scheduled to open in 2011 and the Regional Healthcare Centre in St. Catharines http://www.niagarahealth.on.ca/construction/new-health-care-complex/ which is scheduled for completion in 2012.

The hexagonal cladding is a bit much to me -- it doesn't seem an inherent part of the design, but is a lazy way to make the building seem "biological". The physical design of the building is definitely handsome, however.
