beautifully designed pair of buildings! but the location is off most people's radar... would love to see more of this style within the downtown core.

Amazing, but as Redroom said, why are these hidden neighbourhoods getting such gems, while prominent locations are getting bland boxy clones?

There! Was that so hard to design? Other architects and developers I hope you are seeing these. Handsome, intelligent design, that has a nod to historic architecture, while still looking modern. Designed to be part of a city not a monument to itself.
